New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal on Tuesday said the protest against the amended citizenship law has terrified the ruling JD(U) in Bihar and it was "misleading" people by saying that" all is well with NDA" in the state.
"Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar supported the CAA and now after seeing nationwide protest against it, he is terrified and giving misleading signals to the people," Manoj Jha of the RJD told ETV Bharat here.
He said a projected fight between the JD(U) and the BJP on seat-sharing for the upcoming assembly elections was an effort to divert people's attention from the issue.
The RJD leader said Nitish Kumar would remain with the NDA only and the projected fight over the issue of seat-sharing between the two partners was just an eye-wash.
"He did it earlier also by leaving the grand alliance and joining the NDA," Jha charged and said people would not forgive him this time around.
