New Delhi: Janata Dal (United) Rajya Sabha MP Vashishtha Narayan Singh said the Bihar cabinet wears a balanced look after it was expanded on Tuesday.
The JDU leader, who had earlier served as the president of the party's state unit, said that both old and new faces had been added to the cabinet, giving it a balanced look.
The promises made by the NDA government to the people of Bihar will be fulfilled by this cabinet, he said.
This NDA government will prove to be better than previous governments and many achievements will set an example for the future, he added.
Earlier in the day, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expanded his Cabinet with the induction of 17 new ministers.
The development came nearly three months after the Janata Dal (United) and the Bharatiya Janata Party alliance won the closely fought Assembly elections in the state.
After the expansion, the state Cabinet now has 31 ministers. The state Cabinet can have up to 36 ministers, including the chief minister.
