Bihar reports several fires during Diwali

Lakhs of rupees worth properties were destroyed in fires during Diwali celebration in Bihar, according to reports.

Motihari: Properties worth Lakhs of rupees were destroyed in incidents of fire at two places in Pakridayal police station area in Bihar.

A fire broke out in the house of Harendra Pandit of Ajgarwa of Pakridayal. However, it did not spread due to the readiness of the villagers and was controlled with the support of the fire brigade.

A similar incident happened in Harsiddhi where fire from crackers destroyed a house. On the other hand, a house was burnt to ashes in the village in a fire caused by a firecracker.

At the same time, in Rampur Khajuria of Dumariaghat police station area, a house was engulfed in fire that the locals managed to control.
