50 people injured in Bihar acid attack over land dispute

In a horrific incident, as many as 50 people suffered burn injuries when acid was allegedly thrown at them over a land dispute in Bihar’s Saran district. The police have arrested two persons in this connection and further investigating the matter.

Saran (Bihar): At least 50 people suffered burn injuries when acid was allegedly thrown at them over a land dispute at Chaitpur village in Bihar’s Saran district on Sunday.

As per information, three of them were severely injured and were referred to the PMCH; 25 people are admitted to a nearby by Nursing Home whereas rest are being treated at different hospitals.

Police said there had been a dispute over a piece of land between Ramchandra Shah and his nephew, Sanjay Shah, for the past few years and which resulted in clash today.
