NRC list: Conspiracy behind the exclusion of Hindu names, says Pub-Maloibari residents

The final NRC was released on August 31, leaving out 19,06,657 applicants. Residents of Pub-Maloibari have however alleged that there is a conspiracy behind the exclusion of Hindu names.

Guwahati: After the publication of the final NRC, almost 1500 names are missing from the list who are resident of Pub-Maloibari near Guwahati.

Story of people excluded from NRC list

The people submitted their valid documents but still, they couldn't make it to the list and they allege that there is a conspiracy behind the exclusion of Hindu names, as all of them are Hindus.

The same incident happened with the people of Lumding constituency, as around 40% of the indigenous people's names were excluded from the final NRC list.

These names include the Garo, Koch, Dalu, Hajong, and Hindu Bengali population. All these people came to Assam after 1964 communal violence in East Pakistan.

They were given shelter at the refugee camps in Goalpara district. After 1967, around 1414 families were given lands and housing as per the government rules and regulations.

In Rangia, almost 3000 names were excluded from the NRC list. These people belong from Khandikar, Kaurbaha, Chenimara, Bihapara, Dhepargaon, Dalangghat, and Chira khundi village and possess all the valid documents and papers.

The People submitted their Valid Documents at the NSK but their Name Excluded, they say there is (NRC) a huge Conspiracy behind the exclusion of the Hindu names, as all of them are Hindu. 

Same incident happens with the people of Derapar in Hojai District's Lumding Constituency. alomost 40% of the indigenious peoples name were excluded from the Final NRC. These names include the Garo, Koch, Dalu, Hajong and Hindu Bengali peoples. All these people comes to Assam After 1964 communal Violence in East Pakistan. They are given shelter at the Refugee Camps in Goalpara District. After 1967 almost 1414 Family were given lands and home according to the Govt rules and regulations. After submitting valid documents at the NSK the name these peoples were also excluded from the Final NRC. 

In Rangiya Assembly constituency almost 3000 names were excluded from the NRC. These people included from Khandikar, Kaurbaha, Chenimara, Bihapara, Dhepargaon, Dalangghat, Chirakhundi Village, whos names are not there in the NRC. All of these people have the Legacy Data of 1951.
