Nagaon (Assam): In yet another case of drug seizure, the Assam police on Sunday have seized contraband drugs including heroin worth over Rs 8 core.
The seized contraband includes 2 kgs of heroin, close to 10 kgs of opium and one quintal of ganja.
Police said that the seized drugs are estimated to be between Rs 7 to 8 crore.

Police said that based on a tip-off, Central Assam police launched a search operation at the house of one Habil Ali of Sonari gaon under Dhing revenue circle in the district. Three persons including Habil Ali, Mofidul Haque and Bahadul Alam were arrested for their involvement in drugs peddling racket.
