Agartala: Bridging the gap between citizens and government, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb launched Chief Minister's (CM) helpline service for grievance redressal. While kickstarting the initiative on Monday, Deb interacted with people directly and asked the officials concerned to take appropriate measures. The call centre is set up in IT Bahwan building, Indranagar.
During the inauguration, Deb interacted with two people, one from Ranirbazar and another from Indranagar. Emphasising good governance, Deb said, "Politics should be confined to the election period, rest of the time, people should know us for our work. If we hold demonstrations throughout the year, it will hamper development. Our aim should be to take governance to the doorstep."
