Karimganj: An incident of alleged 'booth rigging' was caught on camera at the 467 polling centre in Batea Primary School of Assam's Karimganj constituency on Thursday.
When questioned by the ETV Bharat reporter, the polling officer revealed that one person was casting 14 to 15 votes at that polling centre.
The person, reportedly involved in 'booth rigging', was casting votes for all his family members.
Further responding to the alleged lapse, the polling officer maintained that the security force was responsible for the incident and not him.
"Our work is to manage things here. I am doing my work and the security officials are here to look at such incidents," he added.
Further details are awaited.
