Barpeta: Little would have Mohammad Mafiz Ali realised that when he brought a book of lottery tickets, that particular act would change his fortune.
His humble possession, a rickshaw has now transformed into a luxury SUV, all thanks to the lottery organised by a local club - Tarun Sangha.

Ali, a local hailing from Pathshala area in Barpeta district of Assam, bought a lottery book contains 13 tickets.
Among those, he sold out five tickets, but the remaining eight pages turned lucky for Ali.
Among those eight tickets, one turned into a golden goose which made him the honour of the SUV.
As the news spread, locals thrilled into joy and a mood of celebration engulfed the area.
