Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Assam on a three-day tour on January 22.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma while talking to media said that Shah will arrive in Nalbari to participate in Vijay Sankalp Divas on January 24.
"The Union Home Minister will arrive in Guwahati on the evening of January 22. He will go to Shillong on January 23 to participate in a meeting of the North Eastern Council (NEC). The same day he will return to Guwahati. On January 24, he is expected to take part in a public meeting at Kokrajhar which is organized to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the BTR Accord. From Kokrajhar, Shah will come to Nalbari and address the Vijay Sankalp Divas," Sarma said.

"Shah is expected to return to the Union capital the same evening," Sarma said.
Earlier, BJP national president JP Nadda had visited Silchar in Assam's Barak Valley and sounded the poll bugle for the 2021 polls.
JP Nadda too had addressed a public rally in Silchar and appealed to everyone to vote for the BJP government for the overall development of Assam.
