Visakhapatnam: A trio, accused of cheating unemployed youth with the pretext of providing them jobs in railways, was nabbed by a special team of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh.
The issue came into light when the youth, who were reportedly cheated by the trio, lodged a complaint with the Railway police.
This was further followed up by a detailed investigation into the issue and the accused: Rajasekhar Rao, Srinivas and Ananta Rao, were subsequently nabbed.
The Railway police also seized fake documents (related to employment) and cash receipts amounting to Rs 1 lakh.
Later, the trio was handed over to the II Town police station for further investigation.
The officials (special team), involved in the nabbing of culprits, were presented with a reward of Rs 10000 for their work.
