Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh): Three Naxals surrendered before the police in Andhra Pradesh 's Visakhapatnam.
The Naxals surrendered before Rajkamal, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Paderu.
This comes after an exchange of fire between security personnel and Naxals near Mandapalli village in GK Veedhi Mandal in Visakhapatnam Agency area on August 20.
"One of them damaged an under-construction community hall in 2015. We are removing their names from all those cases and will provide rehabilitation", the police officer said.
"As all of them have joined the movement at a very young age, they are not aware of what to do after coming into the mainstream", he further added.
Earlier, on August 17, three CPI (Maoists) Naxals, including one Division Committee Member (DCM) and two Area Committee Members (ACMs) surrendered before the Superintendent of Police in Visakhapatnam.
"I appeal to all the Naxals that they have many options to live if they leave the movement. On behalf of Visakha police, I promise them that their reward money will be provided to them. We also give them skill development training and help them if they want to do any business", the deputy superintendent police said.
