Tirumala (Andhra Pradesh): A three-month-old baby boy was reportedly abducted by an unidentified person near S V shopping complex in Tirumala on Sunday.
The incident occurred in the early hours when the boy's mother went to attend nature's call and the kid was fast asleep with his father. During this time, an unidentified person abducted the boy and fled from the spot.
The parents: Mahavir and Kaushalya, both residents of Viluppuram of Tamil Nadu, work as vendors selling fancy items at the hill shrine. Mahavir, who reportedly saw someone fleeing with the baby, tried to nab him but in vain.
They later lodged a complaint with the Tirumala police, who in turn alerted the personnel at all transit points in Tirupati and are currently reviewing the CCTV footage for clues.
