Hyderabad: Schools in Andhra Pradesh reopened for students between Classes 1 and 5 on Monday after the Covid-19 outbreak shut educational institutions for 11 months across the state.
The schools will operate between 9 am to 3:45 pm and follow the protocols issued by the government.
Schools must ensure not more than 20 students in a classroom and follow alternate guidelines if there are not enough classrooms.
According to the guidelines, facemasks and sanitisers are mandatory in all schools. Students will have to sanitize their hands at the entrance gate before entering classrooms.
Two separate isolation rooms have also been set up in educational institutions for students with Covid symptoms.
