SC Collegium recommends appointment of 7 judges to AP and T'gana HCs

The SC Collegium has recommended the appointment of 4 judges to the AP High Court and 3 judges to the Telangana HC. The judges that have been recommended are being elevated from the post of advocates.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended four advocates for appointment as judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court and three advocates for appointment to the Telangana High Court.

The advocates recommended for the AP High Court are- R Raghunandan Rao, Battu Devanand, D Ramesh and N Jayasurya.

While, the ones recommended for the Telangana HC are- T Vinod Kumar, A Abhishek Reddy and K Lakshman.

The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad had recommended all seven names for elevation in October last year, before the Telangana HC came into existence.
