The Supreme Court has ordered the Telangana High Court vacation bench to conduct a hearing on anticipatory bail on May 25. It has been suggested to try to finish the trial on the same day as far as possible. The Supreme Bench directed all the parties to present their arguments before the vacation bench.

Hyderabad: Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy has faced a setback in the Supreme Court in the murder case of former minister and paternal uncle of YS Jaganmohan Reddy, YS Vivekananda Reddy. The Supreme Court rejected his plea for protection from CBI arrest. Avinash's anticipatory bail case was heard in the Supreme Court. It refused to grant him interim protection. A bench comprising Justice JK Maheshwari and Justice PS Narasimha rejected the plea for a week-long exemption from CBI arrest and investigation. It commented that they are not ready to interfere in this matter.

The Supreme Court has taken up the investigation on the miscellaneous application filed by Avinash Reddy seeking an order to immediately hear the case filed by him for anticipatory bail in the murder case by the vacation bench of the Telangana High Court. Avinash Reddy's lawyers placed the case before the bench of Justice Aniruddha Bose and Justice Sanjay Karol on Monday after the CBI issued a fresh notice to appear in the case.

Due to his mother's illness, he will not be able to attend the CBI hearing for a week, so he requested that the vacation bench of the Telangana High Court immediately hear and issue a decision on his anticipatory bail petition. In that application, Avinash Reddy pleaded for interim relief as he was unable to attend the hearing. The court listed the case before a bench comprising Justice JK Maheshwari and Justice PS Narasimha on Tuesday. In this context, the Supreme Court, which has taken up the investigation, has issued fresh orders on the investigation of the High Court vacation bench.

The Supreme Court rejected YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy's plea to stop the CBI from arresting him due to his mother's illness. The bench, which did not accept Avinash's appeal, commented on why the CBI was delaying the arrest. At one stage it expressed impatience that it could not interfere in the petition.

Finally, the Supreme Court has directed the vacation bench of the Telangana High Court to hear this case on May 25. It has been clarified that all the parties should hear their arguments before the vacation bench of the Telangana High Court. It suggested that if anyone wants to say something they can mention it before the vacation bench. It said that this petition can be mentioned independently of the old petition.
