Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TDD) has confirmed that Lord Hanuman was born at Anjanadhri in Tirumala Hills. TTD will make an official announcement in this connection on April 13. It said it will furnish mythological and scientific evidence to substantiate its claim.
A committee was set up in December to collect evidence on Hanuman's birthplace. The committee members, who met and discussed several times, examined five mythological books and various other documents. TTD said it will come out with a book on the birthplace of Hanuman.
