Kin of AP fishermen detained in B'desh appeal for help

Family members of the fishermen said they were feeling helpless and appealed to the Central government to intervene and ensure that they are released at the earliest.

Vizianagaram (AP): Family members of the eight fishermen from Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district, who are currently in detention in Bangladesh, appealed to the Central government to step in and ensure their release.

The eight fishermen from Tippalavalasa sailed from Visakhapatnam ten days back in their boat 'Amrita', which reportedly strayed into Bangladeshi waters.

The fishermen were then reportedly arrested by the Bangladeshi Navy for intruding into their territorial waters.

The fishermen have been identified as - Vasupalli Ramu, Rayithi Ramu, Vasupalli Aparna, Narasimha, Rayithi Appana, Polayya, and Vasupalli Danaya.

FISHER MEN from india was caught by bangladesh coast guards on their land. They were taken into the custody. . Fisher man VASUPALLI RAMU along with other fisher men went on his  boat AMRUTHA 10 days back from visakha distirct.  VASUPALLI RAMU, RAYITHI RAMU, VASUPALLI APARNA,NARASIMHA, RAYITHI APPANA,VASUPALLI APPANA,POLLAYA, VASUPALLI DANAYA are  from tippavalasa village, vizayanagaram district. They acciedently entered bangladesh land from our indian border.    Family members were in worry knowing nothing to do. they are requesting central governmetnt to look into the matter and release fisher men.
