Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh): Passengers on board a Kadapa-Vijayawada TruJet flight had a scare on Thursday, after the aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing following a bird-hit.
According to reports, the aircraft hit a bird soon after take-off from Kadapa, and had to instantly land back at the airport.
The authorities then called off the flight. The passengers were then provided with alternative travel arrangements to Vijayawada.
Earlier today, a Jaipur-bound IndiGo flight from Pune made an emergency landing in Mumbai after it was diverted to the city due to a glitch in one of the engines of the Airbus A320 plane.
All passengers were accommodated on another aircraft which further operated to Jaipur.
