West Godavari (Andhra Pradesh): Another incident of government officials' negligence has been witnessed in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh as the image of dog and flowers has been placed instead of peoples' photo in Municipal election voter list.
According to sources, Municipal election voter list in West Godavari district is riddled with errors.
In the voter list released by authorities 2 days ago, a man named Bunny's photo has picturised as a dog instead of the voter's photo. In another photo, a flower doll was replaced by a person named Sanjeevrao, sources said.
The election of local bodies has yet to be announced Andhra Pradesh state but such negligence of the government officials has become a headache for the people.
When asked about the incident, Municipal corporation officials have said that the mistakes in printing will be brought to the attention of top officials.
Following this incident, leaders of various parties have also expressed their anger over similar errors in the list, sources added.
