Vishakhapatnam: Five people died in a tragic accident where an auto rickshaw filled with passengers hit an electric pole in Vishakhapatnam. The accident occurred near Chintappaly when the auto was returning from a Sunday market at Balapam Cheruvuru village.
5 killed as auto rickshaw rammed into an electric pole
Deceased people were identified as Chittibabu, Gangaraju, Bonji Babu, Krishnarao and Prasad. Victims were rushed to the hospital by the locals. Six people are undergoing treatment.
Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy expressed condolences to the victim's families and ordered the officials to provide the best treatment for injured. Compensation will also be provided to the victims of the accident.
