Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh): Police in Andhra Pradesh have finally cracked the case of a burnt body that was found near a hospital in Tirupati. According to police, the remains were found near Ruya Hospital on June 23 and it was that of a woman. The woman had been murdered by her husband, who later set the body on fire to destroy the evidence, reports said.
The woman was identified as Bhuvaneswari, a software engineer belonging to Ramasamudra in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district. She was married to Srikanth Reddy, a software engineer in Hyderabad. Bhuvaneswari came to Tirupati with her husband three months ago after being offered the opportunity to work from home.
Suspecting that Bhuvaneswari was involved in an extramarital affair, Srikanth Reddy killed her. In order to cover up, Reddy told his family that Bhubaneswari had died of Covid-19 and her funeral was conducted by the hospital management. However, a relative of Bhubaneswari, who is a police officer, did not believe it and started an investigation that led to the grim truth.

Two special police teams have launched a manhunt to arrest Reddy.
