A farmer's movement looking to make the Andhra Pradesh government keep Amravati as the capital reached a milestone by marking 350 days of protest. The movement is looking to ensure the capital is not trifurcated.

Amravati (Andhra Pradesh): A farmers' movement, which is protesting to ensure the continuation of Amravati as the only capital, reached another milestone by marking its 350th day. To make their problems heard the state farmers protested in various ways. They faced blows and insults. In the midst of many challenges, the Jai Amravati slogan is being further propagated to garner public support.

On the opening day of the assembly sessions, the farmers tried to convey their protest to the CM. That attempt led to a bit of tension. Farmers who went to the Assembly faced heavy police deployment. They understood that the decision of the government is not fair. The farmers also expressed frustration that the CM was not even willing to listen to the protesting camp's argument.

Farmers complained that the government's attitude had not changed in the 350 days since the movement began. They said that the protests would escalate further if the government tried to control it. The farmers expressed confidence that ultimate victory in the courts would be theirs.
