Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh): The Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanam (TTD) has made some changes in order to make it easier for travelers who have pre-booked rooms online for staying in Tirumala to get their rooms.
As part of this, three 'room receipt scanning centres' have been set up at Alipiri Padala Mandapam, Tollgate and Srivari Mettu on Monday.
Earlier, travellers who booked rooms in advance had to first go to the CRO office and scanning the receipts there. Afterwards, they went to the sub-inquiry office and later got the rooms.
However, with the rules, scanning counters will be set up at Alipiri Padala Mandapam for pedestrians coming from Tirupati, and those who come in vehicles, counters have been set at Srivari Mettu and at Alipiri Tollgate. The details of the sub-inquiry office will be sent to the registered mobile number shortly after the scanning. With that the travellers can directly go to the office and get rooms.
