2 children drown in pond in Visakhapatnam

Two minor children drowned in a pond in Vishakhapatnam district. The incident took place when the children were playing around the pond and suddenly fell into it.

Visakhapatnam: Two children drowned in a pond in Lingavaram village of the GK Veedi Mandalam in Visakhapatnam district, sources said.

The deceased have been identified as Jathin and Girivardhan.

The bodies were retrieved with the help of locals, they said.

According to locals, the incident took place when the children were playing around the pond and suddenly fell into it.
