Tokyo: Indian rowers had a great outing at the Tokyo Olympics on Sunday as the duo of Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh performed exceptionally well to finish third, qualifying for the the semifinals of the men's lightweight double sculls repechage at the Tokyo Olympics here on Sunday.
The Indian pair registered 6:51:36.
Poland's Jerzy Kowalski and Artur Mikolajczewski came on top of the charts as they clocked a timing of 6:43.44. At third place was Spaniard Horta Pombo and Manel Balastegui, who clocked 6:45.71 in the repechage 2 at the Sea Forest Waterway.
The Indian duo will compete in the semi-finals on July 27.
