Melbourne: Nick Kyrgios added some fuel to his running feud with Novak Djokovic on Sunday when he mocked the world number while entering the court before his doubles match with partner Thanasi Kokkinakis.
Kyrgios imitated Djokovic by waving excessively to the sea of empty seats at Margaret Court Arena then made a gesture to each corner of the stadium similar to what Djokovic does after winning a match.
Kyrgios criticised Djokobiv for his complaints during lockdown ahead of the Australian Open and for the Serbian's Adria Tour tournament early in the COVID-19 pandemic that saw players and fans contract the virus.
Djokovic responded in Melbourne that he didn't have much respect for Kyrgios off the court.
Kyrgios and Kokkinakis lost the second-round doubles match to Wesley Koolhof and Lukasz Kubot 6-3, 6-4.
