Vienna: Top seed Novak Djokovic was pushed all the way in the first set of his second-round match in Vienna against Borna Coric.
The young Croatian had four set points but Djokovic fought off all of them before taking it 13-11. He is now 21 and 2 in tie-breaks since last year's Wimbledon.
Coric could only win 3 games in the second set, and Djokovic is now guaranteed to finish as year-end No. 1 for a record-tying sixth time unless Rafa Nadal takes a wild card into Sofia.
