Geneva: The Team World took the lead 11-7 in the third day of the Laver Cup after consecutive victories in the early session matches.
The final day of the competition started with the doubles match between the pairs Roger Federer/ Stefanos Tsitsipas against Jack Sock/John Isner.
It was the Team World, who at the start of the day were trailing Team Europe 7-3, who won the match after one hour and 48 matches.
In the second match of the early session, it was replacement Taylor Fritz who defeated Dominic Thiem to leave Team World on the brink of victory with a 11-7 lead with two matches remaining.
The World number 30 Fritz needed two hours and two minutes to defeat the World number five.
