Zorawar, Shokeen, Smriti win Champions Links Challenge golf titles

Gurgaon: Zorawar Randhawa won the Teen Boys 'B' title at WAGR and JGS ranking Champions Links Challenge golf at the Golden Greens Golf Club here on Thursday.

Zorawar, 13 and son of star golfer Jyoti Randhawa, scored a six-shot victory over the second-placed Ranveer Dhupia.

Daksh Shokeen, meanwhile, continued his good form to submit a card of 1-under par 71 for a tournament total of 10-under 206 to win the title in the men's amateur category. Raghav Chugh who won the Teen Boys A category, finishing seven strokes behind the leader. He finished second in the top category.

Smriti Bhargav closed with a 2-over 74 to wear the Women's Amateur crown with Ragini Navet finishing second. Vedant Banerjee Sodhi and Ranveer Mitroo were tied at 5-over 149, but the former won on the second play-off hole to win the Category C title.
