Kuala Lumpur: Oscar de la Hoya has announced that he will make a comeback in July, 13 years after hanging up the gloves and bringing an end to his celebrated boxing career.
The 48-year-old said his decision was inspired by Mike Tyson, who returned to the ring at the age of 54 to face Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition fight in Los Angeles last November.

De la Hoya hasn't named his opponent for the bout on 3rd July, but he has previously mentioned the prospect of facing Floyd Mayweather.
'The Golden Boy', who won 11 world titles in six weight classes, retired from the ring in 2008 after losing to Manny Pacquiao - the fourth defeat from his last seven fights.
De la Hoya has remained a highly visible presence in the boxing world since then through his role within Golden Boy Promotions.
