Christian Coleman can be dominant in 100m
Presently, Christian Coleman is one of the fastest sprinters in the 100m circuit. Upon Bolt's retirement, it is Coleman who has dominated the sprinting scenes in the 100m circuit. One can estimate such dominance by Coleman in the 100m circuit that his timing of fourth-best run which is 9.85 seconds is actually better than Noah Lyles' best performance. Noah is actually the second fastest 100m sprinter in the world currently. Further, Coleman's recent finish of 9.76 seconds in the Doha World Athletics Championship comes close to Bolt's top five best performances.
Noah Lyles the world-beater in 200m
Noah Lyles is the closest to Bolt's mark of 19.19 in 200m. As a matter of fact, no other sprinter has even stood near since 2017. In fact, to prove Noah's dominance, one needs to see that Michael Norman who is the second-fastest in the 200m has a personal best timing of 19.70s which is one second worse than Noah's fifth-best timing of 19.69 seconds.
However, there is as much difference in the timings of Bolt and Lyles as there is between Noah and Norman. Noah's best run in 200m sprint is 19.50s which is 0,05 seconds better than Bolt's fifth best run.
