"Last time, I made a throw of 68m, next time I will try to break my own record. I will try to touch 74-75m throw in my next Games," he added.
Sumit Antil further said, "the gold medal which I won in Tokyo will always be special for me. This medal has changed my life, I keep the medal on my bed while sleeping and I assure that the medal is always with me. Whenever I see my medal, it reminds me of my struggle and whatever I have achieved today, is because of that struggle only."
When asked what would be his advice to the aspirants, he said, "Along with hard work, one should also do smart work because one cannot be successful with hard work alone because a game has many parts. If an individual feels demotivated then one should try to keep the surroundings which has positive vibes and avoid the negative vibes because this impacts a lot on the player."
