Bhopal: 17-year old ace Indian shooter Manu Bhaker is training hard at a camp in Bhopal ahead of the Putian World World Cup Finals which starts from November 17. Having already bagged 6 World Cup golds and 1 Commonwealth gold at the tender age of 17, Manu says that she does not let her success get into her head which helps her stay calm and grounded.

She also said that choosing shooting was a matter of coincidence for her as she earlier used to play other sports, such as martial arts, boxing, tennis, and skating. While talking about public's expectations from her, she mentioned that this will always remain due to her past achievements, however, she does not let all of these things affect her mind as it would then affect her performances.

Bhaker also said that she wants to concentrate on future and forget her past failures when being quipped about her pistol malfunctioning in Munich earlier this year and her failure to land a medal in Asian Games despite making a world record.

Manu also confidently claimed that the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics will be special for Indian shooters as they are working hard and are also doing good in various world competitions.
