India conceded in the dying stages of the game to play out a 1-1 draw with Korea in their Sultan Azlan Shah Cup clash here on Sunday.

Ipoh(Malaysia): India conceded a last minute goal to play out a 1-1 draw against South Korea in the second match of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup here on Sunday.

The match started off slow as there was no goal in the first quarter, the Indian team took the lead courtesy goal by Mandeep Singh in the 28th minute. However, Korea's Jang scored the equaliser in the last minute of the game to split the points in the game.

On Friday, five-time champions India defeated Asian Games gold medallist Japan 2-0 to begin their campaign on a positive note. Varun Kumar and Simranjeet Singh were the goal scorers.

Meanwhile, India will take on Malaysia in their third encounter on Tuesday.
