Doha (Qatar): Xavi Hernandez' Al Sadd qualified for the AFC Champions League quarter-finals with a 3-1 win over rivals Al Duhail in the round of 16, securing a 4-2 aggregate victory on Tuesday at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium here.
Interestingly, Al Duhail ended with 10 men when substitute Mohammed Muntari was shown the red card for violent conduct soon after the third goal went in.
Muntari, who had clashed with Bounedjah moments earlier, was sent-off in the aftermath after an assault on Boualem Khoukhi.
Meanwhile, Al Sadd will face Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr for a place in the last four.
