Dubai: Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has been named 2020 Player of the Year at the Globe Soccer Awards on Saturday night (local time).
Lewandoski bagged the prestigious honour ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in Dubai.
The Poland international striker won the Champions League and the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich in 2020.

After getting named player of the year, Lewandowski said that the Globe Award is a 'dream' come true for him.

"The dream has come true because I dreamt about playing in the big stadiums with fans and to win big titles, and now I am here, so I'm glad.
