Nicosia (Cyprus): Belgium midfielder Eden Hazard on Saturday denied reports that he has agreed a deal to move from England's Chelsea to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
It follows reports this week suggesting he had agreed to join Real after speaking to their coach, Zinedine Zidane.
"There's nothing there. Today I'm focusing on tomorrow's match against Cyprus. That's the only thing in my head now," Hazard said
The player was speaking at a press conference here ahead of Belgium's Euro 2020 qualifier in Nicosia on Sunday in which he will win his 100th international cap.
Asked how long he hoped to continue playing for the national side, Hazard - who former Belgium World Cup star Enzo Scifo recently described as the best Belgian player of all time - said he felt well at the moment but he would give way once a new generation was ready to step up.
"I am going to see how, at 28, my body reacts. For the moment everything is OK. I'm in great form, but with the accumulation of matches, sometimes it gets a bit complicated," Hazard said.
"Of course one wants to play in the maximum of major tournaments. There are the Euros coming up, another World Cup, then another Euros. So we will see. And, as I have already said, if I see that the next generation is growing, for me there won't be a problem. I will cede my place to the younger ones," the midfielder added.
