Madrid: La Liga side Sevilla appointed former Real Madrid and Spain coach Julen Lopetegui as the club's head coach on a three-year deal on Tuesday.
This is his first job since his ill-fated spell with Real Madrid.
Lopetegui replaced interim coach Joaquin Caparros, who helped Sevilla finish the season at sixth spot following the sacking of Pablo Machin in March.

The Spanish coach was removed from his Real Madrid job in October 2018 after just 10 league matches, with Los Blancos languishing in ninth place in the points table.
Sevilla will hope Lopetegui emulates the success he enjoyed as the head coach of Spain. Under his coaching, Spain qualified for the 2018 World Cup without losing a game.
