"I don't think there are a lot of teams who would love to play us in the moment, it looks like Man United is the only one who wants to play us and we have to make sure it's a misunderstanding," Klopp said.
"It's just normal, I would do exactly the same if the situation would be the other way around: 'This is the game we can change the world.' That's how I would prepare it so why shouldn't Ole do that?," he added.
Liverpool are 15 points clear of United after just eight games this season and hold an eight-point lead at the top of the table ahead of their trip to Old Trafford, where victory could see them equal Manchester City's record of 18 consecutive Premier League wins and in doing so pile more misery on underfire Solskjaer and his United squad.
