Manchester: Vincent Kompany was honoured by Manchester City Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak with a road name and a sculpture for his achievements and contribution to the club on Wednesday.

The road connecting the City Football Academy youth and community pitches with the Club's First Team Centre has been renamed 'Vincent Kompany Crescent' and is marked by a mosaic inspired by Vincent's unforgettable goal-celebration in the 2012 Manchester derby.
"Every day, any boy or girl, every academy player, every first team player that will drive or walk this road for training, they will remember they are walking on Vincent Kompany Crescent, " said Manchester City Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.
