Madrid: La Liga El Clasico match between Barcelona and Real Madrid is likely to be postponed until December due to a separatist rally in the Catalonia capital.

As far as scheduled is concerned the marquee clash was about to take place on October 26 and La Liga wanted to move the match from Barcelona to Madrid due to security tension, with the replay will automatically switch from Madrid to Barcelona.

But neither team agreed to come to the same table.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation, in consultation with security officials, hosting the match on the rally day will pose a serious challenge to the security. So, they are trying to reschedule the match in the coming days.

However, if the La Liga clubs and league administration fail to reach an agreement on the given time frame, the soccer federation will take the final call.
