Turin: Serie A champions Juventus have dismissed rumours which states their interests in Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic in the January transfer window.
The former Sevilla skipper has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou after the club did not offer him a contract extension this summer while also sitting out most of the times in bench.
As per reports, Rakitic's days at the Camp Nou are numbered with Inter and Manchester United interested in landing the former Schalke star.
“Our squad is complete and we consider it to be one of the best in Europe,” Juve director Fabio Paratici said.
“We’re happy with our players. I’d rule out the arrival of a full-back. With Mandzukic, we chose a quiet time for him [to leave] but a move to Qatar did not materialise so he stayed with us.
“Now we’ll see what happens in January.”
Rakitic has so far started just one of 10 matches for the Catalans this season and has played in just 21% of minutes. As per reports, Rakitic is rumoured to be carrying a price tag of 40 million euros.
