Milan: Italian football club Inter Milan on Tuesday announced the signing of Christian Eriksen from English side Tottenham Hotspur.

The 27-year-old, who was out of contract in the summer, has signed for the Serie A side for a fee in the region of £17million.
The attacking midfielder ends a glittering six-and-a-half-year stay in north London, where he was a driving force behind Spurs' ascent towards to the top of the English game.
As Eriksen's departure was announced, Spurs revealed they had taken the option to make Giovani Lo Celso's loan move from Real Betis permanent.
Eriksen leaves having scored 69 goals and provided 89 assists in 305 appearances.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan said that the 27-year-old Denmark midfielder has signed a contract that keeps him in Milan till June 30, 2024.
"I couldn't wait to join, it's wonderful to be here and I'm happy to be a new Inter player," Eriksen told the club's official website. "I'm very excited and can't wait to introduce myself to the fans.
"I've already experienced their warmth, it's been a fantastic welcome. I feel great. I'm not really someone who places great importance on statistics but I know that there are people who like talking about this.
For the Danish National team, Eriksen has made 95 appearances and scored 31 goals for them so far.
Eriksen, who is arriving at Inter Milan following seven years in England, has some impressive numbers but he insisted that he does not give any importance to statistics.

It's now time to start a new challenge, I'm really happy to have the opportunity to play in Serie A for a big team. Inter is a fantastic Club," he said.
Inter Milan currently hold the second spot in Serie A table with 48 points, three points behind the table topper, Juventus.
