Paris: Paris St-Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel and midfielder Marco Verratti spoke to the media on the eve of the club's tough UEFA Champions League opener against Real Madrid in Paris.
The squad was stronger and with more personality than last season, said Tuchel, as PSG look to improve after falling at the Round of 16 stage for the past three seasons of the competition.
Tuchel knows the match will be tough and singled out Real forward Karim Benzema for praise, calling him one of the most underrated players in the world".
Neymar is suspended for the match and PSG are also without injured duo Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani, which puts Mauro Icardi in line to make his full debut after joining on loan from Inter Milan.
