Eibar: Defending La Liga champions Barcelona moved to the top of La Liga standings with a straightforward 3-0 win against Eibar.
Ernesto Valverde's side edged ahead of both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in the table after Atletico drew 1-1 against Valencia while Real lost 1-0 away against Mallorca.
Valverde started with the famed Catalan forwards Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi after Ousmane Dembele was ruled out of the match due to a two-match suspension.
French striker Griezmann opened the scoring for the visitors on 17 minutes after racing into Clement Lenglet's long ball to confidently fire past Marko Dmitrovic at the near post.
Eibar, however, did have chances to get themselves back in to the game before half time but Marc Ter Stegen saved two efforts from Charles de Oliviera and Sergi Enrich.
After the break, Messi scored Messi doubled the Catalan advantage before Suarez trippling the scoreline in favour of the visitors.
