Rawalpindi: Some late fireworks from Ben Cutting and Mohammad Nawaz propelled Quetta Gladiators to a five-wicket win over Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League on Thursday.
United, beaten by the Gladiators on the opening day of the season, though they had their revenge after posting 187 for seven batting first, Colin Ingham's 40-ball 63 not out providing the backbone.
However, Jason Roy got the reply going with a half-century at the top of the order and an unbroken sixth-wicket stand of 57 between Cutting (42) and Nawaz (25) from only 27 balls got them over the line.
