Ahmedabad: In the 29th match of IPL 2021, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has won the toss and decided to field first against Punjab Kings here at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.
As KL Rahul, who has been admitted to the hospital after he was diagnosed with appendicitis, is missing today's match, Mayank Agarwal is leading the side against DC.
While DC didn't make any change, PBKS brought Dawid Malan in place of Nicholas Pooran.
Mayank Agarwal: Sad we are gonna miss him (KL), it is what it is. We won the last game, we have the confidence. I hope it gets slower and slower. Really looking forward to the responsibility. We got Malan in for Pooran.

Rishabh Pant: We are going to bowl first. the wicket looks similar. We are doing good as a team. We are only focusing on our process. Yes, there is a lot of improvement to make but each and every day, we just try to learn from our game and move forward. I am enjoying every bit of it (captaincy) because there are so many senior players in our team who are helping me, especially Ricky. It's going good so far. We are playing with the same team.
