IPL 2020: RCB win toss, elect to field against DC

As Amit Mishra has been ruled out of IPL due to a flexor tendon injury, Axar Patel will play today's game for DC. RCB currently ranked third while DC second with six points each.

Dubai: In the 19th match of IPL 2020, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and have opted to field against Delhi Capitals here at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday.

As Amit Mishra has been ruled out of IPL due to a flexor tendon injury, Axar Patel will play today's game for DC. RCB currently ranked third while DC second with six points each. DC have a better Net Run Rate than RCB.

Both Bangalore and Delhi are coming off to play this match in the back of their win against Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals.

RCB vs DC match will be played at the same pitch in which CSK defeated KXIP by 10 wickets.

However, going by history, RCB will have an advantage over DC as they won 14 times against DC's 8 out of their 23 meetings. Their 2015 IPL fixture at the Chinnaswamy Stadium was cancelled to the rain.
