Mumbai: After the euphoria across the city as Mumbai Indians players toured the city in an open bus with the Indian Premier League crown, the coveted trophy found a special place in the Ambani household on Tuesday as owner Nita Ambani placed it at the feet of Lord Krishna and Radha in their temple inside the Antilia.
In the video, the owner is seen carrying the trophy into the prayer room and having placed the trophy in front of the Gods, she then chants: "Jai Shri Krishna."
Nita Ambani is known to treat her players as part of the Ambani family and after a tense battle of over 52 days, the Indian Premier League (IPL) was finally won by the Mumbai outfit at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday. And the elated owner thanked son Akash for the best mother's day gift after MI registered a one-run win over the Chennai Super Kings to lift their fourth title.
